Era Bistro Bar CaféFollowing the closure (as a result of site redevelopment) of the multi award winning “Circa” restaurant, father and son team Bob & Brad Hamilton decided to relocate their entire team to a new look and newly named restaurant in South Brisbane. The Brief included 120 seat dining area that reflected a more casual dining experience than “Circa”, a centrally positioned Bar which incorporates indoor / outdoor seating areas, a wine shop featuring a 3700 bottle self supporting temperature controlled wine wall (accessible from both sides) to separate the bar area and wine shop. There is also a separate cafe which successfully incorporates the exiting 10m high plywood ceilings into its design, two commercial kitchens, full toilet facilities, mezzanine offices and a secure storeroom in the underground car park below. |
