Our History

GDW Commercial Interiors was founded in 2004 by Grant White. Grant has more than 30 years experience in the commercial construction industry, working on a multitude of specialized projects including the Empire Theatre (Toowoomba) & the New Farm Powerhouse.

Over the past decade GDW Commercial Interiors has been focused on the office & hospitality industries completing design, fitout &refurbishment projects for clients such as QIC, Era Bistro, QUT, Newstead Brewing, QSuper & MWH Australia just to name a few.

Our focus on the clients needs & our attention to details, no matter how small, has insured repeat business & word of mouth referrals resulting in consistently strong company growth.

Office design

We provide design services for every aspect of your project from initial building surveys, best-fit sketches, concept sketches, image boards, working drawings, finishes selections, 3D renderings, through to all necessary approvals (landlord, local authority, building approvals).

Office fitout

Our dedicated construction team ensures the design is implemented correctly and that our trades and suppliers are maintaining the high standards required of every project. Our appointed Project Manager possess decisive, skillful leadership to plot the path ahead, and ensures the project is kept on track.

Our construction teams focus is to deliver a first class fitout, on-time and on-budget.

Office refurbishment

Base Building Projects

Our competitive pricing, quality workmanship & reliability has provided us with many projects for building owners and managing agents. Projects have included foyer and lobby upgrades, refurbishment of amenities blocks, kitchens & shop fronts as well as the construction of mezzanine floors and storage rooms.

Tenancy make good

As well as new projects, our construction team undertakes tenancy make good works which are often required at the end of a lease. Many of the make goods have tight time constraints, but with our experienced team we are able to complete the required works on-time and within budget.

Our Safety Management

Safety management is fundamental to the successful operation of our business and implementation is given the highest priority.

The company has implemented and documented safety management procedures in accordance with current state government legislation.

Site-specific risk assessments and work method statements are completed for every project on award.

A Workplace Health and Safety officer with current certification is appointed to all projects and would perform the functions of that role.

GDW Commercial Interiors completed our first sustainable Green Star Office project for the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) back in 2005.
